As we step into the last ten days of Ramadan, I want to ask everyone to help me raise funds for the students in our education programs so that they can continue their educational careers. As you all know, we sponsor students in Clarkston/Stone Mountain to be able to attain education in a nurturing environment.

The main reasons we focus on this area is because of the high number of refugees that need specialized attention and the fact that the public school system is not adequate. Our solution is to sponsor kids to go to a private school, take after school ESL classes and enter into a mentorship program as needed. We have a great team of teachers, volunteers, and students who work together to make advances. The results are powerful.

Students and parents are able to change their future prospects for generations to come. The most rewarding part of this experience is we see the people going through our programs as becoming leaders and making far-reaching changes in their communities to help others. The students grow and learn so much that each year we get letters like these from the students and more and more applications for scholarships.

All students are zakat eligible. If you want to help make a difference with people who want to be on their own feet so they can turn around and become contributing members of society, this the perfect opportunity.
