WHY-ISLAM Atlanta organized Street Dawah day on July 5th (Saturday), along with six continents across the globe. Our teams of enthusiastic Da'ees have kicked off the first ever global dawah day in Atlanta to spread the true Islamic message.

The idea of the event was first announced by Islamic Education & Research Academy (IERA) more than a month ago, under the title, “What’s Your Goal?”, the campaign was designed to convey the message of Islam while collaborating with other organizations and fellow Muslims.

More than 20 volunteers gathered at Giving Back to Humanity Office, 92 Broad Street, and setup a dawah booth on the street. The event focused at Broad Street, Five Point MARTA Station, and Underground Atlanta. Kicked off early morning and lasted until 1:30pm. Those who volunteered received a What's Your Goal T-Shirt and dawah materials to share the message of Islam.

It was eye-opening that dawah highlights as the single most rewarding occupation; one that was the distinctive mission of every Prophet. The volunteers quick to resonate with the message that dawah is a means to prove to Allah SWT that one treasures the gift of emaan that they have been so fortunate to be blessed with; a gift not to be taken lightly and one that is befitting to be shared with others. Our team of over twenty volunteers engaged with people to answer their question Purpose of life? How should they live my life? The Concept of God? Who is Jesus? and What happens when we die. More than 1000 dawah materials & Qur'an are distributed on this day.

Alhamdulilah 1 person took Shahadah at Global Dawah Day - WhyIslam booth.
