When CNN decided to do a story on Eid, their "CNN Sunday Morning" featured Kareemah Budeir, an Atlanta Local, who had invited CNN into her home to show how a typical Iftar goes during Ramadhan. "I know that there's a lot that's in the news, but the everyday life experience of a Muslim and as an American is that people have decent values. They value life, and they value different cultures. I can't say it's hard. I would feel guilty saying that it's hard," She says about Ramadhan.

Neda Farshbaf from CNN also penned an article titled "Iftar in the South: Muslims gather for breaking of Ramadan fast", and spoke to Ali Gebril, speaker at the Roswell Community Mosque in metro Atlanta.
