The 10th anniversary of 9/11 calls upon Americans to promote freedom and oppose extremism in every faith community.
The King Center, Building Understanding (BUDS), and the Islamic Speakers Bureau (ISB) for a dynamic interreligious evening as we present a panel discussion by Clergy Beyond Borders (CBB). Soumaya Khalifa, ISB executive director, and Daniel Shorr, BUDS executive director, will co-moderate.
They will discuss how to respond to attacks on faith communities and learn of resources for respectful pluralism within Judaism, Christianity & Islam.
The event will feature the Windows and Mirrors peace and hope exhibition, a social justice marketplace, and liturgical music of diverse religious traditions.
