March 21st marked the 50th anniversary of the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.

Ejim Dike and Atlanta civil rights attorney Azadeh Shahshahni wrote an article discussing the current gaps in our legal systems visa vi human rights. Dike and Shahshahni also discuss how our American justice system matches up with the rest of the world. In light of recent events, from police brutality to injustice in the courtroom, it is important for everyone, especially those belonging to minority groups, to be aware and take a stand.
