Global Atlanta has published a positive book review of The Study Quran. The review, which was penned by Islamic Speakers Bureau of Atlanta founder and executive director Soumaya Khalifa, commended the latest English translation of the Islamic holy book.

“With The Study Quran, both scholars and lay readers can explore the spiritual meaning of the Quran, examine the grammar of difficult sections, and explore legal and ritual teachings, ethics, theology, sacred history, and the importance of various passages in Muslim life,” Khalifa wrote.

Indeed, the Study Quran is unique in that it represents the “labor of several U.S. scholars over a period of 10 years,” Khalifa wrote. It also “accounts for both Sunni and Shiite perspectives when offering critical commentary and translating verses.”
