Stay tuned for more details! Alif Institute is pleased to announce the 14th annual Atlanta Arab Festival on September 14th and 15th ! Experience the best of Arab cultures with food, music, art and more… a great event for kids and adults! Having drawn over 5,000 attendees in one weekend, the Atlanta Arab Festival is fast becoming an Atlanta tradition.

Everyone is welcome to attend the Atlanta Arab Festival at Alif Institute (3288 Marjan Drive, Atlanta, 30340).

Festival hours: Saturday, September 14: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM Sunday, September 15: 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Admission fee: $5 per person, children under 12 years old are FREE!

While visiting the Atlanta Arab Festival, please: No pets No smoking No weapons No distribution of political, religious, or other non-authorized materials

Highlights include: " interactive exhibits and activities! " BAZAAR featuring traditional hand-made items from local, talented artists. " Great SHOPPING at the Souk: books, arts and crafts, paintings, groceries, rugs, jewelry, traditional home accessories, traditional clothes and more! " Delicious FOOD from some of the BEST local Arab restaurants. " GAMES for all ages: amusing carnival-style games and activities for young ones, challenging games for youth, backgammon and barjees for all ages! " Arts & Crafts: Create your own arts and crafts; have a henna design done or have your face painted; get your name written in beautiful Arabic calligraphy. " Cultural, folk art, fine art, and educational exhibits: learn about interesting facts that relate to the Arab culture and to Arab Americans. " PERFORMANCES: Enjoy a beautiful array of folk dances, singing, storytelling, traditional fashion shows, and great music! " PRIZES: Take home one of many raffle prizes!
