Event Description

The Muslim American Society- Atlanta Chapter presents to you the 8th Annual MAS Family Camp. Open to all ages, this year's MAS Camp is designed to tackle the rise in Islamophobia by educating camp attendees on how to comunicate with law enforcement, knowing one's rights, and how to engage in the proper form of conversation with those who express themselves through Islamophobiac and/or anti-Islamic rhetoric. Furthermore, the camp will provide attendees with insight on justice in the life of the Prophet (SAWS) and the obligation Islam sets for Muslims to stand up for justice. Our guest speakers are CAIR's Executive Director Brother Edward Ahmed Mitchell and former Gainesville NAACP spokesman and Gainesville Islamic Cultural Center's Imam Bilal Ali. This camp will be held on November 11th-November 13th. To purchase tickets, please go to this link: https://masatlanta.yapsody.com/.
