Imam Arshad Anwar

M. Arshad Anwar serves the Roswell Community Masjid as their resident Imam. He holds a bachelor's in Islamic Studies and a masters in Educational Leadership. Having previously been a teacher for elementary and middle school, he has great zeal in serving the youth as well as wider Muslim and non-Muslim community. 

Yasmeen Fareeduddin, DO MPH

Yasmeen Fareeduddin is board certified in child & adolescent as well as adult psychiatry. She previously practiced in Washington, D.C. and served as mental health program director for AMHP. Her personal and professional interests focus on community mental health, and combatting stigma by increasing awareness and dialogue regarding mental health both among colleagues and the community. 


Sarah Ansari, LPC

Sarah Ansari is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She received her bachelor's degree from Georgia State University and Master's Degree in Community Counseling from Argosy University in 2010. She understands the challenges families and individuals experience when major life transitions (e.g., marriage, divorce, death, relocating, etc.) happen and is able to relate to people of different faiths, ethnicity, race and background. She enjoys working with adult and adolescent females (ages 13+) who struggle with suicidal ideations/thoughts, self-harm or bodily harm, depression, anxiety, anger, relationship issues and other life or mental health concerns. 

Nabile Safdar, MPH

Nabile Safdar studied what Muslims identify as their unmet healthcare needs and barriers to access while obtaining his MPH at the University of Maryland.  He has been delivering cultural competency training for healthcare providers for over a decade, most recently as a speaker and content developer for the Islamic Speakers Bureau of Atlanta.  He servers on the executive committee of the Islamic Medical Association of North America.
