Event Description

Hadith Scouts Competition 2015/1436

السلام وعليكم

With the help of Allah (SWT) we are pleased to announce and invite you and your community to participate in the “Hadith Scouts Competition 2015.”

This contest, which will begin in June 2015 and end on September 12th, 2015, is an excellent opportunity for you and your community members to spend the summer learning about the inspiring teachings of the Prophet (SAW) and apply them to your lives through interactive discussions.

With the widespread propaganda and lies being spread about our Prophet (SAW), it has become vital to revive and refresh our love and knowledge of him (SAW).

Zakat Foundation of America is sponsoring this nationwide Hadith Scouts Competition for both kids and adults to encourage Muslims to memorize 25-50 short ahadith focusing on the “Character of the Prophet (SAW)”.

The competition will consist of a written AND oral section (details can be found on the website). Prizes will be awarded on a large scale, with cash awards ranging from $25 to $300.

The Hadith Scouts Competition team will be publishing a Study Guide full of lesson plans for teaching the Ahadith. This guide will be provided completely free of charge to contestants and team leaders InshaAllah.

Be on our map! Register as an individual contestant or register your community by setting up a testing center or study group. We are requiring a minimum of ten contestants to be registered from a community before we approve it as a testing center on our testing date September 12, 2015. We also require a minimum of 7 contestants for each category.

If you are interested in participating as an individual contestant or as a testing center, please sign up using our registration form.

If you have any questions or queries, please do not hesitate to contact us at hadithcompetition@gmail.com. We look forward to hearing from you.
وعليكم السلام
