Feeling extremely connected through social media, but distant from nature & your true self? Don't remember the last time you took a stroll to reflect and left your phone more than 10 feet away from you? Well, Madina Institute U.S.A , UpLift Muslim Youth , & Gwinnett Islamic Circle are here to help! Join the Madina, Uplift, & the GIC Youth Groups on Saturday, May 30th as we carpool up to Tallulah Gorge State Park to take a refreshing nature hike along the trails and and overlooks of this breathtaking park!

Not only will the nature retreat be awesome, but we'll also spend some time at our picnic spot to share Ramadan Reflections and hear inspirational Ramadan Prep Talks to help us prepare for the coming blessed month.

MADINA YOUTH: We'll be meeting at Madina Institute at 11:00am SHARP and then carpool from there. This event is for everyone ages 13 & up, & a signed waiver will be required to join us for the carpool & hike. We expect to be back at Madina Institute by 5:00pm insha'Allah.

UPLIFT YOUTH: We will be meeting at RCM at 11:am SHARP and carpool from there. A signed waiver will be required to participate. We expect to be back at RCM by 5:00pm inshAllah.

GIC YOUTH: We will meet at GIC at 11AM SHARP and carpool from there. We expect to return to GIC by 5:00PM Insh'Allah. Save yourself time and submit the online waiver form below.

This event is BYOL (Bring Your Own Lunch), so be sure to bring a disposable sack lunch with you as well as a backpack to wear during the hike!

Please dress appropriately for the weather and for the hike. Be ready for a full day of hiking and learning Insh'Allah! This event is geared for youth aged 13+ but we welcome anyone who would like to join and learn too! We will have chaperones from all institutes.
