Basketball will be held at two venues on Friday, March 20th: one for guys, one for girls. Please also take note of the basketball rules listed below.

Guys: East Roswell Recreation Center 9000 Fouts Road Roswell, GA 30076

Girls: Alpharetta Community Center 175 Roswell Street Alpharetta, GA 30009

One - Registration is MANDATORY between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM for all basketball participants. Registration will take place at the guys’ basketball venue (Roswell Courts) for BOTH guys and girls. Girls will then proceed to their own venue.

Two - Games will begin at 11:00 AM. While waiting, we have set up a photograph/autograph session with former NBA player and our basketball tournament host Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM.

Three - We will be praying Jum'uah on site.

Four - Teams must have a minimum of five players, each with their own numbered jersey. If teams need to be combined, MIST organizers will send out emails with a list of combined teams before the tournament. If changes need to be made day of, organizers will accommodate.

Five - Stats will be tracked! Awards will be delivered at the end of the night to MVP, highest scoring player and team per game, and best defensive player and team.

Organize those chants. Create your team shirts. Think of ways to earn spirit points. Get pumped! Get excited! MIST Atlanta 2015 is right around the corner!
