Buddy System

The Buddy System pairs new converts with one or more buddies that will be responsible to keep in touch with them over the phone and, if possible, meet them in person. We will try to pair them based on location proximity so that it is easy for volunteers to meet them.

If you are a Converted Muslim, Non-Muslim or Newly Practicing Muslim who would like to be assigned a buddy, please contact musheer@gmail.com

Volunteers will not be expected to make large time commitments. At the very least, you would only be required to volunteer a few minutes every other week to make a single phone call. Insha'Allah you will be equally rewarded for their good deeds for helping them in their transition to the Islamic way of life. Volunteers will also be given a short training session before being assigned. Please sign up for volunteering here: http://bit.ly/frq_buddy

New Muslim Packets

The Masjid provides new Muslim packets that will be given out as soon as someone accepts Islam. These contain basic essentials such as a Qur'an, prayer mat, hijab, booklets on how to pray salah and the five pillars, an Islamic Calendar etc. Please contact us if you require one.

Alhamdulillah, over 250 converted muslims in Atlanta have participated in our program and several people have accepted Islam through it as well. This would not have been possible without the help of God, du’as of our supporters, time and effort spent by our volunteers and donations made by our sponsors. Please make du’a that we can make Atlanta a more welcoming place for our new Muslim brothers and sisters. Contact us if you would like to get involved with the program or know anyone that has recently accepted Islam in Atlanta.
