Event Description

This all-day event encourages leaders to network amongst diverse and multi-denominational faith and civic groups, establish relationships with disaster response agencies, and learn how to be an involved community partner in times of disaster.
Special presenters include: Gwinnett County Commissioner Lynette Howard, District Two Georgia Emergency Management Agency (GEMA) Janay Stargell, Homeland Security Faith-based Coordinator American Red Cross Jack Morgan, Division Disaster Executive, Southeast and Caribbean Gwinnett Fire Department

Join leaders from diverse faith communities who will learn how to better prepare their congregation for disasters, Understand the roles of emergency response agencies, Involve their faith community in disaster relief efforts, Enroll in FREE Red Cross preparedness and response training so that they could become part of a readiness network for faith-based leaders.
