What is the purpose of Pink Hijab Day?
1) To encourage people to ask questions about Hijab, and extinguish stereotypes people may have about hijab
2) To raise awareness and funds for breast cancer foundations across the globe
3) To encourage Muslim women to participate in helping their own communities
Health & Wellness workshops, Prizes, Great food, Bazaar, spoken word entertainment & much more.
Global Pink Hijab day is October 26th 2011. We are hosting a luncheon to allow for all the Atlanta Muslimahs to be able to get their pink Hijabs early and be prepared to represent on the 26th.
