Event Description

This event was originally created by Ahmed Salim.

On Wednesday evening, three men - 23-year-old Mohamedtaha Omar, 20-year-old Adam Mekki, and 17-year-old Muhannad Tairab - were found dead in a house in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

We, as a community, must stand in remembrance and for justice for our three slain brothers. We will be holding a candle light vigil in Centennial Olympic Park, across the street from the CNN center at 6:30pm.

Please join us and invite your friends and family as we unite for Mohamedtaha, Adam, and Muhannad.

WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP? - Invite your friends to the event and help spread the word - Tweet at local media outlets to cover the story - Host a vigil in your city! Send us a link to your local vigil and we will promote it to increase nationwide support

  • Please bring candles, as we will have a limited number available
  • Feel free to bring any works of art and posters to honor the lives of those lost
