Navigating Through Everyday Life Changes

Introducing: Dr. Dana Reid D.O.

Background:

Dr. Reid is a child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist who practices in Alpharetta, GA. Dr. Reid graduated with Honors from the University of Georgia. She obtained her medical education from Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, VA. She completed her adult psychiatry residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX and her child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Reid is board certified in both child and adult psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Her specific areas of interest are in the evaluation and treatment of anxiety, mood disorders and ADHD in children, adolescents and adults. She has published articles and presented both locally and nationally in areas related to cultural psychiatry, cyberbullying and the impact of social media on the mental health of adolescents. In addition, she is an active member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and the Georgia Council of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Disclosure:

This will be a session for Men and Women both, you can share the issues that you are presently going through, but please remember your issues are not all going to be resolved in this session. This session will help address issues on a high level, you will meet people who are experiencing similar problems you are currently faced with and will learn best practices on how to deal with certain events. In the event one on one counseling is needed Dr. Dana will route you in the right direction.
