Rabia Khan, LAPC will be facilitating this 'Tween Girls & Peer Pressure' Workshop for Girls ages 9-14 as a 3.5 hour workshop.

 

Why are confident girls called Bossy? Assertiveness Skills Training for Tween Girls will teach adolescent girls to identify and express emotional needs to friends and family. This experiential workshop will teach specific strategies for counteracting Peer Pressure. Girls will gain self confidence in their ability to respectfully express concerns and fears to parents. Tweens will Learn to use the 'TOP 10 Assertiveness Skills Techniques' including the Sandwich Technique, Nail it On the Head, Ask for Time to Think and many others.

Maximum of 20 Participants. Ages 9 – 14

Light snacks will be provided.  Please notify event coordinator of any food allergies.
