ABOUT THE COURSE

Presenting 100+ illustrated slides, Mufti Hussain Kamani will journey through the Prophet's early life: his forefathers, childhood, family life, and first 13 years of Prophethood. Students will also learn about the beautiful lives of the first converts. Other teachers will share short lessons from the Prophet's character and guest performers from Syria will recite Qur'an and sing poetry about the Prophet ﷺ. (Speaker bios and videos below)

By the end of the weekend, after learning more about his blessed life and struggles, you will inevitably fall more in love with the Prophet, peace be upon him. This course is not just about information but transformation. Not only will students learn facts and stories, but there will be emphasis on relevant lessons for our own lives. In Sunday's final session, Mufti Kamani will give all in-person attendees a signed course completion certificate.

NOTE: On Friday, February 20 our teachers will host a panel discussion and Q & A session. They will offer an introduction to the weekend course and discuss the importance of learning the Seerah. This session is FREE for in-person and online students.

REMEMBER, Atlanta is driving distance from cities in North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, and more. There is limited space available (125 seats).

ABOUT THE TEACHERS

MUFTI HUSSAIN KAMANI, born and raised in Kentucky, began pursuing Islamic knowledge at the age of 6. By the age of 9, he completed memorization of the Quran. He later traveled to the United Kingdom and pursued formal Islamic authorizations (ijazahs). For 7 years, he studied a rigorous curriculum covering Arabic language and literature, Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh), Quranic tafseer, Hadith, Islamic Philosophy, and Aqida.

Afterwards, he was selected for a post-graduate level course in Islamic Law and Legal Verdicts, which he completed within two years. He later earned his graduate degree in Business Management from the University of Coventry (UK). He currently resides in Chicago with his family where he has served as an Imam for 6 years. He also serves as an instructor for the Qalam Institute and CelebrateMercy.

SHAYKH HASSAN LACHHEB is completing a Ph.D. in Islamic Studies at Indiana University. In 2000, he completed his Masters with Honors in Islamic Theology, Islamic Legal Theory, and Maliki Fiqh from Dar al-Hadith al-Hassaniyyah in Rabat, Morocco. He also earned a Bachelors degree in Arabic Language and Literature. Shaykh Hassan has extensively studied several Islamic disciplines, receiving many Ijazaat (licenses to teach).

Currently, he resides with his wife and three children in Knoxville, Tennessee where he teaches at the University and serves as the Muslim community's resident scholar.

ABOUT THE PERFORMERS

SIDI MOUAZ AL-NASS of Syrian descent, were born in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He studied Inshad (religious songs) and Maqamat under foremost munshideen in Syria. As an expert singer and drummer, Sidi Mouaz has been involved in may musical performances in the USA, UK, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan and Saudi Arabia. He also studied tajweed and Fiqh under his father, Shaykh Samir Al-Nass.

Shaykh Samir is a prominent scholar from Damascus who completed medical degrees in Syria and the United States but also mastered many Islamic sciences under prominent scholars in Syria, Saudi Arabia and Egypt. His father is presently a teacher at al-Fatih al-Islami University in Damascus and conducts learning programs regularly in England and North America.
