Event Description

This page was created to spread the word about this upcoming meeting, please continue to spread the word and try to attend, Palestine needs our help!

This meeting is for any youth (middle school, high school, college) who are interested in becoming more involved in PCRF, are searching for something to be passionate about, or are already participating in PCRF.

This is a great chance for PCRF to expand into schools and universities and bring the next generation into being a part of PCRF and volunteerism. Our goals for this youth committee are to set up clubs in our area schools and universities and promote the work of the chapter, whether it's helping volunteering and interacting with kids coming for treatment, supporting events in the area organized by the chapter, or organizing our own events and activities that can help bring more young people into this worthy cause.

As one of our first youth committee events, we shall go over the goals and basic organization of PCRF and the role we youth play in that. There will be a Power Point presentation but please don't bring your note-taking supplies; they won't be needed as we'll have some handouts. We shall establish an email loop so we can network and connect better with each other, and also go over some general guidelines for starting clubs at schools and organizing events. God willing, there will be some Middle-eastern style hors d' oeurves and Turkish delight. I'm excited for this meeting; it will not be boring, I assure you, and I look forward to a wonderful year of youth activities.
