Event Description

Join us on the evening of January 18 as we unleash our creativity and our solidarity for the children of Syria! We will be creating messages, writing letters, and attaching photos that will be sent directly to refugee camps. The children will record their messages back to us for later viewing.

Here's your chance to share some hope with the children and let them know of the care and love you have for them and their cause. Many of these children are asking, "Where is the World?" Here is your chance to send them your answer!

Supplies will be provided. This event is sponsored by Muslims Without Borders and Elevate Culture*.

*Muslims Without Borders will be hand-delivering the cards to Syrian refugee camps. The organization was launched by a group of students at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia who wanted to do something to help the victims of the Haitian earthquake. With new chapters launching monthly and thousands of dedicated volunteers, MWB has turned into a movement whose goal is to make a positive contribution to American society while showing the true spirit of compassion in Islam.Learn more about their programs and how you can get involved at: http://mwbrelief.org/

**Elevate Culture is an investment in the artistic and entrepreneurial genius of North America. EC provides grants, seed funding, networking, and programming geared towards North American Muslims with creative ideas. Join the movement now and visit: www.elevateculture.org
