Alhamdhulillah, ICNA Relief Atlanta – Muslim Family Services offers counseling to families and youths.

We offer counseling services in the following areas with an Islamic perspective kept at all times:

Imam Salim Qureshi is an Imam, Khateeb, Youth and Family Religious Counselor, Marriage Administrator, Arbitrator and Social Worker. He got Bachelor of Law and Legislature (L.L.B.), Master of Arts (M. A., Islamic Studies). He learned Fiqh, tajweed and tafseer education from family elders and neighborhood madaris. He is certified Faith Based Counselor,Arbitrator, Crisis Counselor.

Sarah Ansari Licensed Professional Counselor received a bachelors degree from Georgia State University and Masters in Community Counseling from Argosy University. She is an American-Muslim, of South-Asian decent and culturally aware, understand the challenges families and individuals experience when major life transitions (e.g., marriage, divorce, death, relocating, etc.) happen. She worked in an agency named Family Intervention Specialists, Inc. providing in-home counseling in the community and also have experience of working in a private practice setting. She works with adult and adolescent females (ages 13+) who struggle with suicidal ideations/thoughts, self-harm or bodily harm, depression, anxiety, anger, relationship issues and other life or mental health concerns.  She is fluent in Urdu and understand Hindi as well.
