Established in April 2002, the Islamic Center of Savannah (ICS) serves the growing Muslim community, living in and around Savannah, Georgia.
A few years ago, land for the ICS was donated by a community member. A small house on this land was used as a Mosque until August 2003, when it was burned to ground as a result of arson. By the grace of Allah (SWT) and support of Muslims from all over the country, we reestablished prayers and community activities in a small rented modular building. Now Al Hamdulillah, we have moved into a new facility constructed at the same site!
