Georgia's Muslim community turned out in droves for last weekend's Hunger Walk/Run, an annual 5K that raises money for hunger relief in Atlanta. Over 600 Muslims registered for the event, making the Atlanta Muslim team one of the largest teams present at the event. The Islamic Speakers Bureau and numerous Georgia mosques and Islamic organizations sponsored the team.
